For Loopers on or near the Lower Hudson Valley, here is the July 4 fireworks schedule as extracted from the local newspaper.

Most of the fireworks displays in the Hudson Valley begin toward the end of next week, weather permitting of course.

June 24
Bear Mountain Park fireworks. 5:30 p.m.
June 26
Ramapo will host a fireworks display June 26 at Rockland Community College.
June 30
The Village of Scarsdale will have a concert followed by fireworks June 30.
Ossining will have its Independence Day celebration June 30 at Louis Engel Waterfront Park.
Clarkstown will hold its Independence Day celebration June 30.
July 1
The Town of New Paltz begins its holiday celebrations on Friday, July 1.
The Village of Nyack starts its Fourth of July celebrations at 7:30 p.m. July 1 with a concert.
The Cross County Shopping Center will have music and fireworks on July 1.
The White Plains Independence Day Celebration will be held Friday, July 1, with entertainment, rides, food and fireworks.
July 2
Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah will present "Pops, Patriots, and Fireworks" at 8 p.m. July 2.
The City of Poughkeepsie will celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks display July 2 over the Hudson River.
Pound Ridge will have Independence Day fireworks at dusk on Saturday, July 2.
The Town of Southeast will hold its Fireworks Spectacular from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, July 2.
West Point Military Academy will celebrate Independence Day with fireworks and a concert by the United States Military Academy band.
July 3
Lake Carmel will have fireworks at dusk July 3.
The City of Beacon will have a day of family fun Sunday, July 3.
The Kensico Dam Music Fest and Fireworks will take place July 3.
Rye Playland will have two evenings of fireworks on Sunday, July 3, and Monday, July 4.
July 4
The Peekskill Fourth of July parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday.
Hyde Park will begin its Independence Day parade at 10 a.m. Monday, July 4.
Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow will have fireworks starting at 9 p.m.
The Pearl River Board of Trade sponsors a free concert and fireworks display July 4.
The City of Larchmont will celebrate Independence Day with Fourth of July Races and Music in the Parks, followed by fireworks.
Dobbs Ferry will have fireworks for Independence Day.
The Village of Irvington will celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks.

The City of New Rochelle will have fireworks.
The Village of Fishkill will have readings of the Declaration of Independence July 4.
The Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site has a series of events July 4.
Pleasantville will host Independence Day festivities on Monday, July 4, with the theme of “Freedom, Faith, Family and Fun.”
Rye Playland will have two evenings of fireworks on Sunday, July 3, and Monday, July 4.
Kingston is working with the DOT for a temporary permit to have its fireworks as usual on the waterfront July 4.

The Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site will celebrate the 240th birthday of the United States with a guided walking tour of  the battlefield. An illustrated lecture on the development of the Declaration of Independence will take place at 1 p.m. Monday July 4, the Declaration will be read at 2 p.m.  and cannons will be fired at 2:45 p.m.
