On Windows, I hold the Ctrl key and use the scrollwheel on my mouse, in both the console and src panes. Not sure what you're using, but probably something similar exists for that platform. Thanks Jonathan, that works for the console window- doesn't work in the presets window though. Oh well- 50% success rate is good....
