Also, the President’s FY18 “skinny budget” was released this morning — really this is like a budget highlights type of document you typically see released along with all the other budget documents in normal years. https://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/whitehouse.gov/files/omb/budget/fy2018/2018_blueprint.pdf There is — unsurprisingly — no mention adult education in the education section, so we’ll have to wait until the full budget is released to see what is in store for us. But I encourage you to skim through the document and share with the list any cuts to programs important to you.
