'Make Your Mark' at First Creek storm drain marking event Aug. 21
Help keep Tacoma's waterways clean by volunteering with your friends and family during this year's "Make Your Mark" storm drain marking event on Saturday, Aug. 21, in the First Creek watershed.

Volunteers will meet at First Creek Middle School, 1801 E. 56th St., Tacoma, at 9 a.m. and then divide into groups to mark storm drains with a "No Dumping: Drains to Puget Sound" message. Storm drain marking should wrap up by noon. Lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Please pre-register with Jeanine Riss, Citizens for a Healthy Bay volunteer coordinator, at (253) 383-2429 or jriss@healthybay.orgmailto:jriss@healthybay.org, to ensure enough materials will be available.

This project is sponsored by City of Tacoma Environmental Services, Pierce Stream Team and Citizens for a Healthy Bay.
