Happy December All,
As fall migration slows to a trickle we’re looking back on what has been a remarkable hawk watch season. Tonight, Friday December 1st at 6 pm all are welcome to join for a FREE event where Quaker Ridge Hawk Watch official counter Harry Wales will give a slide show on the season’s results here at Quaker Ridge and other hawk watch sites. Amongst the many season highlights were FIVE new species records including record Turkey Vulture counts at both Quaker Ridge and Lighthouse Point.

Light refreshments & snacks will be served starting at 5:45 pm followed by Harry’s presentation in Greenwich Audubon’s Kiernan Hall. Anyone interested in joining can register below and if you’re unable to join in person the event will be streamed on Greenwich Audubon Center’s Facebook page at 6 pm.
