Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsI'm looking for a very simple shore power box. All it needs is a 30 amp
and a duplex. No breakers needed here.
What I really want is a sheet metal box with a front cover that swings out,
hinged at the top, to provide some protection from rain, even when the cord
is plugged in.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?

IIRC, when we had an RV', the parks used a small electrical box like you
described to plug into. Plug-in (Was Dryer style, not marine), did have
often have a breaker, and a swinging metal lid...
