Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsWe just found Corinthian YC and suggest you check it out as a stop going north, south or taking a side trip up the Potomac to DC.
It’s just off the ICW on the Potomac at Smith Creek in in the southernmost tip of Maryland.
We chose it because it had covered slips, a mid-Bay location and good pricing. Transient rate is $1.25/foot and there may be other incentives.
Some of the interesting amenities include guest rooms and a guest cottage for friends, a large variety of slip locations, 14 acres of grounds, a large clubhouse, laundry, grills and even a pool which is great on these steamy July days. Very friendly boating community with a monthly event. (we just caught the annual five guys burger event)
As I read the history of the place it goes back almost 110 years to Washington DC and has a lot of stories to tell.
Neat place.... http://www.cycchesapeake.com/
I’m not sure who told us about it. It was in my files snipped off the internet chats these last few years. Thanks to whomever shared it!
