As a lead-up to the Pierce Conservation District 2013 annual native plant sale, we will be holding an informative workshop about plants native to western Washington. Topics will include: why homeowners should use native plants, right plant, right place, planting and after care techniques, a description of the plants available on the 2013 order form, and a question and answer session. Speakers will include Susan Stewart, owner of All Seasons Sustainable Garden Design and Rene' Skaggs, District plant sale coordinator.
