Hello Gators,Our next club event is the Diamondman Challenge festival taking place on Saturday, September 12 in Delaware. This will be one of our largest club turnouts for this year and we're looking to grow our participation even further. There are many options for events, even for kids, including all of the following along with who I think we have registered or registering so far (let me know if any corrections are needed)...Triathlon:Half (1.2 mi swim/56 mi bike/13.1 mi run): Suzanne Angelaccio, Maribeth Baker, Jason Brannen, Kerri Brannen, Mike Connelly, Mary Kain, Dean Milligan, Tiff Pfluger, Chris Reiter, Jon WeslerSprint (0.5 mi swim/19.5 mi bike/3.3 mi run): Kristin Kozera, Don Mack, Maureen Pinkerton, Don Schlichtmann, Allison WeslerOff Road Sprint (0.5 mi swim/9.5 mi trail bike/3.3 mi run)Youth (14 & under): 100 yd swim/2.4 mi bike, 0.4 mi run): Alexis Beauchamp, Amanda BeauchampDuathlon:Half (3.3 mi run/56 mi bike / 13.1 mi run): Michelle Leonard, Tim PflugerSprint (2 mi run/19.5 mi bike/3.3 mi run): Kelly Beauchamp, Ken BeauchampOff Road Sprint (2 mi run/9.5 mi trail bike/3.3 mi run)Youth (0.4 mi run/2.4 mi bike/0.4 mi run): Riley Milligan We are in the running for a top 3 spot in Piranha's Greater Atlantic Club Challenge, but need as many points as we can get in this event to hold on to our spot... Every participant that finishes a race (you don't have to get a podium spot) is awarded points towards our team. Kids Training: Also, we've been discussing having a couple of kids training sessions in preparation for this event. Please let us know if there is interest in this. If we do it, the sessions would likely take place the weekends of August 29-30 and/or September 5-7 (Labor Day weekend).
