Their collaborative project All The Sacrifices You Have Made / Todos Los Sacrificios Que Has Hecho pays tribute to the contributions, resilience, joys, and sacrifices made by farmworker families from Yakima and Wenatchee.

This conversation will be streamed via Facebook Livehttps://www.facebook.com/historymuseum/live/. You do NOT need a Facebook profile to participate. Find instructions to access the program herehttps://www.washingtonhistory.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/detailed-instructions-to-access-Facebook-Live-programs.pdf.

More:  All The Sacrifices You Have Made / Todos Los Sacrificios Que Has Hecho is a collaboration between students and staff of CAMP at UW and Borderland Collective - an arts collective from Texas. Mark Menjivar and Jason Reed worked closely CAMP participants to curate photos from their family albums, make new photographs, and record their oral histories. The resulting exhibition creates a personalized connection between the viewer and the families. The photographs and recordings are complemented by a selection of artifacts from the Washington State Historical Society's collections. The exhibit opens February 5 at the Washington State History Museum. Read more about the exhibition herehttps://www.washingtonhistory.org/exhibit/allthesacrificesyouvemade/.
