CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: TEEN LITERARY MAGAZINE

Write253 and Sapwood Press are teaming up to work with youth from Western
Washington to create a teen literary and art magazine. The magazine is
youth-led and will represent voices and views of middle through high
school-aged youth based in Western Washington. Youth interested in having
their creative work featured in the magazine can submit work now until Nov
8, 2018.

Who can submit

Middle and high school-aged youth from Western Washington

Submission Guidelines

Submissions may be up to 2-pages in length.

We are accepting poetry, prose and artwork. Please submit writing in
Google Doc or MS Word file formats. Artwork should be in pdf or jpeg format.

Please email submissions to submissions@write253.com and include the
following information in the body of your email:

Name

Age

City of Residence

School (optional)

Primary email and alternate contact info

**Youth interested in taking part in creating the magazine can join youth
at the Tacoma Public Library in downtown Tacoma on Saturdays from 11AM -
1PM. Our next meeting is on October 20th, 2018, in the teen section of the
1st floor. *
