There was an internet story a few years ago about the biggest engine ever built.
It was in a container ship I think.
They were building it in the engine room.
As I remember it the engine weighed as much as a WWII destroyer.
They had a guy with white gloves on inside the cylinder checking for blemishes. I think they said the crank shaft weighed 70 tons.
