What type of fees/use permits are part of the Champlain Canals or all the other Canadian Canals-is there a seperate fee for mooring along the Canadian canals?
The Canadian canals have daily, multi day and yearly fees. If you
purchase a multi day pass and decide you need more time you can upgrade
at any of the locks. Docking along the locks is also the same; however
most of the locks on the Trent Canal System do not have power or water,
with the exception of Cambleford. (Highly recommended as a stop if on
the Trent)
If you plan to do multiple Canadian canals check when purchasing your
pass, if the pass is good for multiple canals, as some passes can be
used on other canals. i.e. Trent canal pass also includes the Murry Canal.

The Canadian canal pass is good for all of the Canadian canals and
locks, including the Carillon lock and the lock at Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue
on the Ottawa River, and the locks on the Chambly Canal. All are part of
Parks Canada.
The only locks you'll have to pay extra for are the locks on the St.
Lawrence Seaway (heading downstream to Montreal) at $25.00 each. That is
because they're operated by the St. Lawrence Seaway not by Parks Canada.
