Call for Volunteers

Your Homeowner's Association needs you!  We are actively seeking volunteers
to take on the Secretary role, as well as this Newsletter.  Would you be
willing to serve your community?  Please contact anyone on the board at
directors@vuecrest.net.

Downtown Livability Initiative

The city has initiated the public process for the Downtown Livability
project, with a package of proposed changes to the land use code and design
guidelines planned in 2013, and ultimate adoption in 2014.  This is part of
the Downtown Transporation Plan Update.  Since Vuecrest is adjacent to
downtown, this affects us all.  Read about the plans and timelines on the
city's web site, here:

http://www.bellevuewa.gov/downtown-livability.htm  and here:
http://www.bellevuewa.gov/downtown-transportation-plan-update.htm

Send comments by email to:  mailto:downtownlivability@bellevuewa.gov
downtownlivability@bellevuewa.gov.

Assessment for 2013

The 2013 assessment was approved by vote of the community at the 2012 Annual
Meeting and will be $330 for the year.  The assessment billing will go out
around the end of this year, and is due by the end of January.  We are
grateful for your continuing confidence and support.

2012 Annual Meeting

If you weren't able to attend the annual meeting, you can review the
presentation online on our web site.  It is here:

Safety Reminders

With the short days and long dark nights, a reminder to drivers to be extra
alert for pedestrians in our neighborhood at this time of  year.  Please
drive slowly and watch carefully.  Remember, twenty is plenty!

Happy holidays!
