<<<Sydney, Australia - An estimated 1.3 million people are expected to turn
out in Sydney for the A$15 million fireworks display to end the 20th
century, and more than 5,000 recreational boats and at least 300 charter
vessels are likely to pack the harbor.

A government spokesman said the inner harbor would "resemble a parking lot"
with so many vessels out for the celebration. Thousands of Sydneysiders, at
least those who don't own boats, are up in arms over a state government
decision to cancel harbor ferries on New Year's Eve. The government has
decided it will be too dangerous for the ferry services to operate.>>>

Wow! More than 5,000 boats out to mark the end of the century in Sydney!

What's planned in your harbor?

What are your own plans, if you plan to welcome the 21st century aboard
your boat?
