Remembering an exciting three days in Stratford one year ago (2022):

3/18 - Jeremy Nance found CT’s third SLATY-BACKED GULL at Long Beach. Seen by many, but a one-day wonder.

3/19 - Tom Murray found a SAY’S PHOEBE at Sikorsky Airport. About 4th state record; especially rare in spring. Seen by many over a couple weeks.

3/20 - Aidan Kiley found  CT’s 2nd SHORT-BILLED GULL at Long Beach. Seen by many.

All were within a mile of each other. And all were unanimously accepted at the recent ARCC bird committee meeting.

Talk about March Madness!
