Georgs:  We purchased this boat (used) because I believe it was the
best powercat we could afford for the price.  I had an 18' Hobie.
One day while sailing in a very stiff wind in a 2-3' chop with my
youngest son, I realized that we were skimming over the water at
about 18-20 knots - with very little roll or pitch.  I imagined what
this speed in these conditions would feel like in a monohull.  I was
sold on cats and decided one day to own one.

When I first started our search for a boat for the "Loop"  I wanted a
power cat but the ones I found were our of our price range even used.
Looked for a trawler for a long while until I discovered Endeavour,
which are manufactured in St Petersburg,  FL, only 1 hour drive from
home.  Visited the factory on a whim and they showed me the 36' we
eventually purchased.  I like the boat and the people at Endeavour.
They have been extremely helpful in every detail of my purchase of
this used boat.  I negotiated and purchased thru the owner.
Endeavour did not want to make a dime on this transaction,  yet were
very helpful all along the way.  If we decide to live aboard full
time we will consider their 44' trawlercat strongly, knowing the boat
and anticipating excellent support from the manufacturer.

Thanks, Phil, for the backgrounder on your decision to go with Endeavour.

If you're going to be passing through the Trent-Severn during your
Loop, be sure to let me know. I live an hour south of the lift lock
at Kirkfield and would love to drive up to say hello.
