National Coalition for Literacy Discussion List
View all threadsAdmittedly off-topic, but begging your indulgence this one time. Hoping some NLC organizations will consider adding their name as an endorser of this bill.
I see at least one member of NCL already on the list!

Subject: Endorsing D.C. Statehood Bill? - 109 organizations endorsing
I wanted to follow up to our previous emails about your organization endorsing Congresswoman Norton’s D.C. statehood bill (H.R. 51). We have continued to get more cosponsors and endorsers of the bill since I last emailed. We now have 109 organizations (including 94 national ones) that have endorsed the bill (below), and we are up to 216 cosponsors in the House and 33 in the Senate – records for both Chambers. Also, the Oversight Committee will be holding a hearing on H.R. 51 on September 19. Can we list your organization as endorsing as well? Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Trent
