Alma Mater Tacoma 1322 S Fawcett Ave Tacoma, WA 98402 AUGUST 4, 2020 *CALL TO TACOMA YOUTH ARTISTS EXTENDED TO AUGUST 21* [image: image.png] The Tacoma Housing Authority is seeking to select art to be displayed in its Arlington Youth Campus Apartments by purchasing colorful original artworks from Tacoma youth artists. Portable works can include 2-dimensional pieces and small-scale 3-dimensional pieces that fall within Artwork Eligibility guidelines as listed below. Media can include, but is not limited to: painting, drawing, works on paper, photography, printmaking, digital, collage, mosaics, fiber, mixed-media, and wall-mountable low-relief sculpture. The submitted artwork will be showcased at Alma Mater Tacoma’s Milk Gallery, where artwork will be selected for purchase by a community panel. The selected artwork purchased will be installed in the common areas of the new Arlington Youth Campus Apartments, which will serve houseless youth aged 18 to 24 years, with the goal of improving the quality of the residential environment, creating community dialogue, and supporting the arts.
