It is a scam.  A reply to this message goes to a hotmail account controlled by the scammer.
You may be getting such messages from anyone.  They are all short, not personalized, and ask about a favor, an Amazon account, or some other thing.  If you answer you will be asked to buy a gift card, or help someone traveling... endless variations all involving your money.
Sometimes, like now, such mail gets on CTBirds.  There isn't a lot we can do to stop it, but we try.
