Greetings everyone...I'd LOVE to attend, see everyone and play with the dogs, but don't think my heart could tolerate it. I said good-bye to Theodore ( aka Teddy) on Memorial day after 6 days in ICU at the U of M, diagnosing a brain tumor!!! He came home with a time frame of 4-6 mo., knowing our initial task was to manage the edema in his brain as a result of the tumor. The steroids were massive and the anti seizure meds only beneficial marginally. With the first decrease in the steroids, he had 3 delightful days of my playful, snoring Theo...the seizures resumed with a vengence and I simply couldn't ask any more of him.. As many of you are so intimately aware, the ache for them is indescribable. Peace to you all...Con
