Group,
I have a case where a criminal defendant, who is now in prison, asked a friend to go to the house and get his guns. The guns had nothing to do with the crime. The friend did so but later surrendered the guns to the police department. Defendant is now in prison and will be for a very long time. What is the remedy for the police department to dispose of the guns?

Chief’s Sale. It has to be in the possession of the Chief for at least 90 days. I am happy to send you word documents if you like!
