The 2019/2020 Ontario Bird Records Committee would like to take this time to thank the observers and volunteers who have submitted records over the past year and beyond - without your support, the OBRC would not function. This year's Committee is currently reviewing records submitted over the last year that will be summarized in the August issue of Ontario Birds. This update is to provide a deadline for submitting records for inclusion in the 2019 annual summary in OFO's Ontario Birds: January 31st, 2020. Records submitted after January 31st will be forward to the 2020-2021 OBRC. Submissions can be entered through the OBRC's online submission form: http://ofo.ca/site/Obrcreport or via email to the OBRC Secretary ( obrcsecretary@ofo.ca). The review lists for the 3 reporting regions in Ontario and guidelines for reporting can be found here: http://ofo.ca/site/page/view/obrc.guidelines. A reminder that reports of White-winged Dove and Eurasian Collared-Dove are no longer requested for sightings in the South and Central review regions in 2019 and going forward.
