A member has heard about different federal agencies in communications with unrelated, different entities asking for an "ADA Transition Plan" or "Program Access Plan." In neither case did the matters relate to a building or structure. The member notes their understanding of the ADA was that these plans involved a period before the "current" ADA provisions actually took effect, i.e., transition period, which was in the early 1990's. The member is interested in learning about any non-building-related, recent (last 5 years) ADA Transition Plans or Program Access Plans that others may have and can share. If you can share information on this, please send it to me at akarras@imla.orgmailto:akarras@imla.org and I'll pass it along.
Thanks!
Amanda
