Any N40 owners with a 10.5 foot RIB on the boat deck?

After collecting feedback from this forum, I have found a 10.5 foot AB RIB
with a 15HP Yamaha 2 stroke available locally.  Price is good, they will
take my current tender in trade, so I just need to get a few people
confirming a 10.5 isn't too big for the boat deck and I'm off to write a
check.  From rail to rail it's 12'.  I would rather have to squeeze by the
front of the tender than go a foot shorter.  It will be tight, but I had so
much feedback to get the biggest RIB I could that I would like to make this
work.

Also, I'm considering building two pedestals out of starboard (or similar
material) and placing the tender on them rather than mounting permanent
chocks to the boat deck.  This way I can move the boat around a bit while I
search out the best way to secure it.

Finally I'm considering having LineX sprayed down the centerline of the keel
to protect it from the rocks and coral.  I know of a product called
KeelGuard, but I don't know that it will stay attached?

Thanks for your thoughts,

Surprisingly, KeelGuard has gotten good reviews. Before it goes on, I'm sure
you have to clean the surface well.
