Georgs,

We will be building both a sport and "fishing" model of the Chilkat
30. The first five hulls, which are already sold,  will be of the
walkaround pilothouse  model as that  is what is currently in demand
up here in Southeast Alaska for the commercial charter operators and
local lodges. However, we did buy the tooling for the trunk cabin
which was designed but never built by C-Dory before they ceased
production of the boat, and we are looking at producing a run of
those boats which will have a bunk forward and a cabin layout which
will be much more condusive to cruising. Thank you for your interest.

Will the Chilkat 30 be strictly a fishing boat, as the original, or
will there be accommodations for cruising?
