Wow. Summer-before-last we visited the Thousand Islands and The Rideau. I went swimming, albeit briefly, in both places.
Those who know me will find that remarkable since I’m pretty sure that water freezes at 80*!!

Actually NOAA reported today that there are still icebergs floating around
off Saxon Harbor, WI, in Lake Superior, notwithstanding the Coast's Guards
claim that the lakes are ice free. Are we having fun yet?
