P
PUP
Sun, Jun 4, 2006 12:41 AM

Date/time:          June 4, 2006, 12:00 local (03:00z)
Position at Kushiro  42058.830'N & 144023.045'E
Arrival:  Kushiro    06:35
Avg. speed:          6.2 kts
Miles to go:        0 miles to Kushiro
Course bearing:      0000
Wx:                  Wind WNW, 5 to 15 kts, sunny
Sea state:          3 to 4'
Water temp:          8.0 0C at sea, 110C in the harbor and 1/4 mile up river
Crew:                Ben, Brad, Kevin & Kurt
Remarks:
Started to lighten up at 02:15 and sunup at 03:46.  Sunset at 18:55 so we
will change 4 hours when we leave Kushiro which will gain us a day and put
us behind home instead of ahead.  Ya, I'm not sure we understand it either.
Enough wind to keep the Alberta flag flying most of the time.
No doubt, this is the best crossing we've ever had.
