Hello Gators,
All
I Want for Christmas… The Garneau “SVY Multisport” store is now open and will
remain so until December 15. If you
would like to order a tri kit (one piece or two piece) or other Gator uniform
items (jackets, bike jerseys/shorts, arm warmers, NEW leg warmers, NEW knee warmers,
etc) go to the link below and place your order.
No money is due at this time. Also,
there will be an opportunity to try on various uniform pieces BEFORE (not
during) our Thursday, December 17 Annual Member Meeting; if you are interested
in trying something on, please plan to arrive around 6:30pm that night. For more details, contact our CUO (Chief
Uniform Officer), Brent Voynar at bvoynar@gmail.com.

Gators celebrating birthdays this week!Monday, November 30:
Suzanne AngelaccioThursday, December 3:
Tim Mosebey
Accomplishments: Thanksgiving
weekend was also a successful weekend!...Hall of Fame: Congratulations to Brent Voynar for his recent induction
into the Tri County Sports Hall of Fame!
Quite a year for Brent with his first Ironman finish and his Hall of
Fame induction for his efforts in football and baseball at Pottstown High
School and football at East Stroudsburg University. Way to go, Brent! Read more in these articles (nice IM Maryland
photo was in last Sunday’s Pottstown Mercury, too!)…http://www.pressreader.com/usa/the-mercury-pottstown-pa/20151129/281943131801897/TextViewhttp://evan-brandt.blogspot.com/2015/11/five-phs-grads-inducted-into-sports.html
Also, if anyone has a copy of the article, I’d like to post it on
the lap pool bulletin board (I’d ask
Brent for one, but I understand his 100 copies are going out with this year’s
Voynar family Christmas cards).
Saturday, November 28: We don’t usually post the results
of 5k races, but every Gator participating made the first page of the results
(top 28 out of 175 runners) and this was immediately following a one hour plus
bike ride for some of them, so we’re making an exception…Share Joy 5K Run (Oaks, PA):Kelly
Beauchamp was 3rd in her age group, the 4th female
overall, and in the top 15% of all runners plus Kelly set a PR! Excellent, Kelly!!Vince
Bellino finished 6th in his age group and in the top 20%
overall. Great race, Vince!!Don Mack was 4th
overall and first in his age group and just missed a PR.Tiff
Pfluger was 2nd in her age group, 3rd female
overall, and finished in the top 10% overall.
Great job, Tiff!!Tim
Pfluger won the race! Nice work,
Tim! Congrats on joining our other Gator
2016 race winners Michelle Leonard and Kelly Beauchamp!Maureen Pinkerton won her age group, finished as the
5th female, was in the top 15% overall and crushed her 5K PR! Fantastic race, Maureen!!Brent Voynar paced Maureen to a great finish
and also finished 5th in his age group as well as in the top 15% overall. He was also described by Maureen as a “Gatorman”…
The Gator equivalent of a “Gentleman” for stepping aside for Maureen to cross
the finish line first. Quite a weekend,
Brent!!Sunday, November 29:Dirty Bird 15K Trail Run (French Creek State
Park, PA): Tim Pfluger had his second great race
of the weekend completing this tough 15K trail run 4th in his age
group and 13th overall out of close to 400 finishers. Congrats, again, Tim!!

Mile)…Funky
Santa 5K Relay Team: Vince Bellino/Trevor Bellino/Tim Pfluger… Not sure
where they ended up with a team name, but I think “Two and a Half Ironmen”
would be appropriate.2016 “Who’s
In?” Member/Club Event Calendar: Just a reminder to get your
2016 anticipated event schedule in (send to NFLSteeler8@msn.com). Don’t worry… We won’t hold you to it if you
change your mind later. BUT we would
like to share as much info about it with our members as we can, so we’d
appreciate your input by Sunday, December 13.
Also, reminder that Piranha’s ridiculously low $49 sprint/$59 Olympic/$89
half Ironman sale ends on December 15!... Last year we were 3rd in the
Greater Atlantic Club Challenge and we’d like to go for the gold in 2016, so if
you are trying to figure out which events to select, see Piranha’s website… You’ll
save some money and help the club in the process… http://www.piranha-sports.com/
Come On In: We are currently
conducting a new member promotion. We
started with an “Intro to Triathlon and the Tri Club” meeting on Monday night
that was well attended. All prospective

family and friends that might be interested, please spread the word and have
them contact Mary Kain (marykain756@gmail.com)
or Diane Lynch (dianeskipper@comcast.net).

for the club that could lead to discounts, early race entries, comp race
entries, etc. If you have not registered
and/or affiliated yourself with our club, please do the following sometime this
month…Register at this link… http://www.ironman.com/triathlon/registration/sign-up.aspx#axzz3tOQBX2aYAffiliate yourself with our club,
