Pierce Conservation District is announcing that the 2015 Green Partnership Fund (GPF) is now open and accepting Letters of Interest (LOI). GPF grants are available to further PCD's mission of supporting natural resource and sustainable agriculture projects in Pierce County. The GPF is funded through the Natural Resource Conservation Fee drawn from the citizens of Buckley, Dupont, Fircrest, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Milton, Orting, Puyallup, Steilacoom, Sumner, University Place, Tacoma, and unincorporated Pierce County and grants must be used within these areas.
For this funding round (May 01, 2015 through April 30, 2016) Pierce Conservation District has $100,000 available for distribution, where maximum project request is $10,000. The funds are available for use in trimester increments during the funding period in a reimbursement reporting schedule. LOIs are due to Pierce Conservation District by January 5, 2015 by 4 p.m. Letters of Interest will not be considered if they are submitted after the deadline.
