Recently there has been a dramatic increase in spam email addressed to the PUP mailbox. I suspect a list member has had their email contact list harvested, and the PUP address was hijacked. This doesn't mean the PUP subscriber list has been accessed or impacted in any way. It is important to be aware that spammers may use the PUP email address as the sender, in an attempt to have you open their garbage email. If the subject line if the email has nothing to do with our topic, delete it, do not open it. Also, make sure you have adequate virus protection on your systems.
