The debate/discussion about the "best anchor" has long ago and many times been beaten to death.
Please, unless you have startling NEW news, refrain from making it a dead horse again.

Great Loop List
Mr Administrator
I'm not sure it's a good idea to restrain new contributors. You can't ask a
listee to check in the archives everytime he wants to know something. If
not, as well close the list and store the archives somewhere on the web.
Every subject has been covered in the last 15 years.
Newspapers and magazines repeat themselves over and over to talk about
finance, stockmarket, retirement, health, taxes and so on. Teachers have to
repeat almost the same stuff year after year. They don't ask the kids to
check the last year book or youtube clip.
Please let people ask freely their questions. We already lost enough members
in the last years who didn't like to be restrain by the previous
administrators. You want to encourage members, not the other way around. Who
knows if there is not a Cptn Will or a Rudy on the corner, just waiting to
hop in with its own solutions.
If I don't like the subject, I just delete. But I enjoy to see a few posts a
day, either I read them or not. In this specific case, I didn't see any
flame or insult, so why bother ?
Thanks a lot for your understanding,
Bryan

Also technology and experience changes over time. Anchoring is a
critical matter and one that involves safety.
Anchors are expensive and people often don't have the opportunity to try
more than a few. Magazine reviews seem to be influenced by the amount
of advertising as much as holding power of the anchors being tested (IMO).
So, personally, I am happy to read any amount of discussion on anchors.
Kibitzing on the other hand, not so much.
