Good morning,
I recently received a request from the National Association of Federally Impacted Schools (NAFIS) asking whether NCL would be interested in signing on to the attached letter opposing the elimination of Impact Aid federal properties in the Administration’s FY16 budget. I told them that I didn’t feel that Impact Aid funding was closely connected enough to any of our issues for us to sign on, but that I’d be happy to share it with the list in case any individual member is interested.
If I’m wrong and there is an NCL issue related to this that I’m not seeing, please let me know ASAP.
If you have any questions, please contact Jocelyn Bissonnette, their director of government relations (Jocelyn@nafisdc.org). Deadline for signers is March 16.
Thanks,
Jeff
