Hard wired smoke alarms keep going off

Good morning,

We are having difficulty with our hard wired smoke detectors. All back up batteries have been changed and all units tested, but they keep beeping. Has anyone had this issue and if so were you able to repair or is it time to replace all of them.  They all communicate.  I figure we all have the same type of smoke detectors.

Please let me know,  calling smoke alarm repair as soon as I can.

Thank you so much

I just had the same issue and found them all to be expired by a year or two. Looked them up (ours is a Perry home), and the direct replacements are either a Kidde i12060 or an i12040. I bought the 6-pack of the i12040 on amazon for $60, and added the 7th single for about $11.50. Super easy, no need for the included wiring harness, or to install the new bases. Plugs right in and fits into the existing base. Hope that helps!

We had the same issue just a few months ago. We ended up replacing all the smoke detectors. It appears they are designed that way so that they get replaced (ours were 10 years old - and apparently that's the life expectancy).

Same happened to us. It's not the batteries, but the unit itself. Get the
new identical units so that u don't have to replace the base that's
attached to the ceiling. Then it's just unplug old, plug in new.
