National Coalition for Literacyhttp://national-coalition-literacy.org/ and National Adult Education Professional Development Consortiumhttp://naepdc.org/ Joint Policy Call
Please join us for a discussion on adult education practice and policy -  January 4, 2017 at 4 pm ET.
(https://www.gotomeeting.com/join/288734317 online or on the phone, see below)

Integrated Education and Training (IET) is an important instructional strategy supported by WIOA.  The National Adult Education Professional Development Consortium (NAEPDC) and the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASPhttp://www.clasp.org) have been fielding a national survey to learn how adult educators are currently using IET.  These survey results are intended to support IET professional learning, implementation, and the development of policy & guidance on IET.

During this call, we will briefly review the current results of the IET survey, hear from World Educationhttp://www.worlded.org/WEIInternet/us/inc/_display_related_proj_descs.cfm and the Institute for the Study of Adult Literacyhttp://ed.psu.edu/isal/ on their IET work, discuss the latest OCTAE guidance on IET, and brainstorm policy strategies for scaling IET to serve a wide spectrum of adult learners.
