Peter and Bob, Few people have more respect and admiration on this (or any) list than Dr. Bob Austin. Bob has been a willing and free contributor to countless inexperienced boaters, myself included. Unfortunately Peter is Australian and therefore spends a lot of time with blood pooling in the top of his head because he's on the up-side-down part of the earth. No doubt this pooling of blood occasionally causes communication "challenges" between people of different locals. Perhaps Peter can connect with Bob offline and offer a kind "pardon me" for a reference to a situation that he clearly couldn't have known would have been so personal and painful for Bob. Bob, my mother-in-law is in the early stages of Alzheimer's, so I empathize with you completely. Let's all take a deep breath, let bygones be bygones (is that a word) and restore a sense of calm reason to the forum. Perhaps I'm to blame by kicking this whole thing off with my "cats suck" reply to what I believed to be a commercial posting in violation of the rules of the list. In summary, a very few people have monopolized this forum for a few days and several people have unsubscribed. I feel we have drifted a bit off topic and everyone should step back and exercise some restraint to get us back in focus. Thank you for your efforts in this regard.
