Visitors:
Lots of visitors today. A big thankyou to those that helped get a count
done today in the pure blue skies.
Weather:
Moderate SSW to S winds and lots of sunshine.
Raptor Observations:
A better day than we expected with the winds. Ended up with 404 birds
tallied including a nice adult Peregrine right along the cliff edge and a
good number of N. Harriers including adult looking and immature looking
males.
Non-raptor Observations:
Some good passerines today as well. For details see the following checklist
on eBird:
https://ebird.org/checklist/S121153206
Predictions:
Sunday promises to be a very similar day but with SE winds which will again
push the flight inland for most birds other than those right along the
cliff.
