Hello;
Yesterday, Aug 3, at around 10:30 AM, I first heard and then observed a Brewers Blackbird singing at the top of a tree in Pomona Valley Park in Thornhill Ontario.  I heard it first thinking - that certainly sounds like a Cardinal (  3-4 upward sweeping  notes ) but it is not a Cardinal. The pitch is higher and it is a stronger sound. Then I spotted it at the top of a tree , saw it through binoculars and it was definitely a Blackbird. I went home and looked up the different Blackbirds and then listened to each on my Cornell Guide to Bird Sounds app. It was definitely a Brewers Blackbird. There was no other possibility.  I sent it into Ebird but they weren't convinced. They requested a photo but I did not have time to get one before it flew away.

I wondered if any other birders saw this bird ??
