The Pierce County Gleaning Project
(www.piercecountygleaningproject.org), a collaborative project that
works to reduce fresh produce waste and feed hungry people, is wrapping
up their season with a Cabbage Glean this Saturday November, 10th from
9am-12:30pm.

Come help harvest cabbage and deliver it to our local food banks and
shelters! You'll get to take home a cabbage with you as well. The
Gleaning Project has harvested over 55,000 pounds of produce this year
with the help of dedicated volunteers.

Where: Local farmer's field off of Pioneer Rd. in Puyallup. RSVP for
detailed directions

When: 9am-12:30pm

Wear rain boots and bring a water bottle and harvest knife if you have
one.
