You will need to lower your mast at either Troy or Albany NY at the latest. Skipper Bob ninth edition (2006) suggests Riverview Marina 518 943 5311 on the Catskill River 41 mi south of Troy or the Castleton Boat Club 16.6 mi south of Troy 518 732 7077 (do it yourself, crane use fee $50.00 in 06). NOAA and Richardson charts only go as far as Lyons, if you are going farther west than Lyons you will need THE CRUISING GUIDE TO THE NEW YOAK CANAL SYSTEM hopefully avaiable in Waterford.
