There's a link at Seahorse Marine's website to an earlier boat with some pictures during construction of what Mike describes and some profile drawings of the hull.
A couple of comments for clarification. Bill tells me that the box keel is more like 5/16 inch, the actual material is in mm. The keel is constructed with one side tack welded on, then the rest of the components are added. All this while the boat is sitting upright above it.
You should not take my descriptions as being technically accurate in all respects as I was not briefed on the construction, I walked out in the yard and just examined the various hulls. There being hardly anyone to talk to that understands english to answer my questions. Bill is back here at the office this morning.
Stella is teaching me to read Chinese. She is an excellent teacher, it is tragic that she does not have an excellent student. I may be in a catatonic state before she get through with me. She tells me that I only need to learn about 500 symbols and I will be able to hold my own. If I get up enough nerve, I may try to describe this learning process.
