Here's the latest from Que Linda, a gorgeous custom Seaton trawler
yacht owned by Listee Hal Wyman:

We have been enjoying our shore time here in Roaton.  Warn and a little
muggy.  The last two days we have worked on the boat in the morning, as we
feel less like working as it gets hotter in the day.  Except for a last
shopping trip this afternoon, we are ready.  We cleaned the engine room this
AM, putting away all the item that will fall about at sea.  Hal got 600
gallons of fuel Friday, and that we get us to Panama.  Fuel is much cheaper
there.  Here 600 gallons was $1600.  I know from a recent trip that Diesel
is $2.00 per gallon in Mexico, and we think it will be cheaper in Panama.
We will see, and I will report.  The plan is to depart tomorrow
(April 12) about 8:00
AM and head to the next island east of us, call Guanaja Island.  We will
stay over night and check out from there.  Departing from there some time
Thursday afternoon or early evening, so we arrive in Panama at 08:00 AM on
Monday the 17th.  We are using an agent to speed the passage thru the canal.
We have heard that other boats have been taking a week or more to get a date
to go thru the canal.

Just back from the market.  It is a trip shopping here.  The national
currency is the Lempira, about 19 to the dollar.  US dollar works almost
everywhere.  We spent about $120 this trip, and we got Bob to pay.  This
will last us to Panama and thru the canal to the Costco on the other side.
Then we will do the real shopping for the Panama to Acapulco leg.  Another
Costco in Acapulco, and one more in Cabo san Lucas.  This is starting to
look like the Costco tour.

We just sent off our passports and ship papers to the agent, to get us
checked out of Honduras.  He will post date them two days, so we will not
need to do anything on the next island.  Nice service, and typical of
central America.  If you know someone you can do almost anything.  I have
enjoyed the barefoot cay resort very much.  Very private, because it is on
an island, and the beach and lagoon are out of a movie.  Not as piece full
as I expected, as they are working hard on new construction.  During the
summer they will add two more bungalows.  Both two bedroom units.

Lunch to day was at a place called the view.  as you can imagine, it had a
great view. We have a few more things to do before we depart, so I
will say good day, and stay well.
