Recent Car Prowl and Vandalism

Last week, a Vuecrest resident had several items stolen from her car. The
incident took place late at night while the vehicle was parked unlocked in
front of her home on Sunset Way. Though nothing of significant value was
stolen, it's a good reminder to keep doors locked and not to leave valuable
items  in your vehicle. And don't forget that garage door remote controls
are often found inside vehicles, and they can be used to gain access to your
home.

Also last week, a car on Hilltop was egged during the night. Please call 911
if you see any suspicious activity in the neighborhood. Even if it's just a
hunch, the Bellevue Police have asked us to report anything unusual, as even
a small event can help them discover issues before they grow.

Annual Egg Hunt and Vuecrest Picnic
This year's Vuecrest neighborhood egg hunt is scheduled for the morning of
Saturday, April 12th. We'll meet at the intersection of Park and Belfair
(near our main entrance) at 11am. Even if you don't have kids, this is a
great event to meet neighbors and enjoy the spring morning. We could use a
couple of volunteers to help out with the event; please contact
social@vuecrest.net if you're interested.

Also, our picnic is scheduled for the afternoon and evening of Sunday,
August 24th. We'll be bringing back Maximus/Minimus (the giant pig truck)
that was such a hit at last year's picnic.

Call for Volunteers

The board is looking for a volunteer to write our monthly newsletter and
help with other board communications tasks.  If you are interested, please
email directors@vuecrest.net.

Vuecrest Monthly Board Meeting

Please join us at the next Board Meeting on Thursday, April 3rd [7:00 - 9:00
p.m.] at the home of Greg Gransberry and Kathy Goldstein, 1031 Evergreen
Drive.
