For your info:

I spoke to Wild Wind IV in Quebec City this morning. Dennis Raedeke
expects to reach Lake Ontario early next week, with planned stops at
Whitby and Toronto, before a transit of the Welland Canal on Friday.

The Malcolm Tennant-designed 60-foot power catamaran is headed home
to Lake Superior after a leisurely voyage from New Zealand where she
was built by Dave Pachoud.

Yours truly will serve as crew for Dennis and his wife Cam for the
canal transit.

Hi Georgs---Just saw the note on the Wild Wind IV and it's impending transit
through the Welland Canal.
It so happens I live near the opening of the canal close to Lock 1 and would
love to see you guys making the transit!!!!

Let me know how we can communicate directly by a direct reply to this email
as I would like to get a more precise time for the transit!!

I would love to see this boat as I have met Malcolm many times in Australia
and am considering one of his St. John designs!! Currently we are "Cat-less"
having sold our 40ft Noosa Cat in Australia and thus looking around!!!!

Cheers!
Lloyd Kubis

I would sure like to know when this vessel will be transiting west of
Montreal on lake ST Francis... part of the St Lawrence River... I am Coast
Guard Commander on a small inshore rescue vessel. We could salute you on
your way by here...
