If it will start but dies under load or will barely run with blipping choke
or throttle it usually means a barely visible grain of schmuss resides in
the jet channel and will, at will, move to block the jet then happily
return to its lair, eventually.
Rebuilding a carburetor is becoming a lost art, especially with the more
gentle cleaners available now. I have gotten to using an ultrasonic cleaner
for small pieces.
Another issue may be the fuel pump. Check the diaphragm. Use a strong
light. With ozone, age in inventory, and usage a pinhole or tear can
develope.
Have fun.
