Park Area

LSR Residents,

Our community is filled with activity.  The cooler air and the festive decorations set the tone that fall is finally here.

Many are enjoying the park area.  Parents and children are seen playing.  You can see forts and other structures in the park.  Children’s Imaginations are a great thing.  We take joy in their creative thoughts and acts.  That is great to see and we encourage activity in the park.  It’s a great place to run, play and make those memories.

The BODs work to ensure the park is a safe environment for all.  The loose stonework around the park has just recently been repaired to prevent any potential for tripping or someone getting hurt.

Unfortunately some of the repaired stonework has once again been loosened and removed.  We will have this repaired but ask that each of us do our part to maintain the natural beauty and integrity of the park.  It is there for your use.

LSR is a great place because of you.  We appreciate you and your support in this community.

Have a wonderful and safe day.

I LOVE seeing kids and parents riding bikes and enjoying the park, and want everyone to keep doing it. I’ve noticed some kids parking bikes perpendicular to the curb across from the mailboxes. When a car stops is parked to get mail, this makes it difficult or sometimes impossible to pass. Perhaps bicyclists could pull the bikes up into the grass.

Ditto.  It would be easy for those nice bikes to be hit by a car as well.  If laying them down in the grass is not ok...maybe a bike rack for parking bicycles could be considered, out of the street of course.Julia
