I must amend what I just sent. When I said to get the biggest boat you can buy. First you needs to get a boat that will match how you will use it. This includes being able to handle the size boat you intend to buy and also will you be able to find a place to keep it. When traveling on Wild Wind IV, because of the size of the boat I almost always had to call ahead well in advance to find dockage. The advantages of a small well outfitted boat will be much better for coastal cruising. My first thoughts were for long distant off shore cruising. Dennis Raedeke
