I agree, although that goal, regardless of the reason, is often the impetus
to get people going. Once on the journey some, like Dolores and me, stop to
smell the roses or find a location we enjoy so much the goal to
circumnavigate becomes secondary -- but not forgotten.
Personally I admire sailors have circumnavigated or sailed way off the
beaten path to remote locations. I enjoy being around people who go to sea
for the sheer adventure.
