Hello, The City of Tacoma and Pierce Conservation District are excited to announce our new partnership in managing the Tacoma Habitat Stewardship Program! Together, we’re working to engage Tacomans in the stewardship and enjoyment of some of our city’s unique urban natural areas and open spaces. As part of this effort, we’re inviting community members like you to join us for two upcoming restoration work parties this June. These events are open to everyone—no experience necessary! We will be clearing weeds like blackberry, mulching the restoration pathways, and creating mulch rings for Garry oak seedlings.
