Hi Everyone With the permission of the board, I have set up Saturday, June 16, at 10 AM for a truck from Arms of Hope to drive through our neighborhood and pick up items at the curb. This is to help those of you not able to participate in the pickup after the last garage sale and also to give everyone a chance to donate to a good cause. The guidelines are the same as those for donation boxes and individual item pick up. No console TVs, only flat screens. No items in need of repair. No mattresses. Small items and clothing must be bagged or boxed. Please mark the things you want to donate with a sign saying ARMS of HOPE. Please let me know if you plan to participate so I can give them an idea of how many homes we expect to participate. If this is a success, we can have a neighborhood pickup periodically. We are also in the process of planning a neighborhood garage sale in the fall, probably the first part of October so keep that in mind as you decide what you want to donate. Many thanks!
